The best diet is no diet.
03.03.06 (4:02 am)   [edit]

Ok, so asking around my friends, the best health tip they could come up with was the following:

"The best diet tip you will ever get is not to diet. If youre getting fat youre eating too much! Or eating too much of the wrong stuff. If you deprive yourself of carbs like I did on atkins, you can never eat it again without ballooning. Thats my tip for the century..."

Well, well, well now that is not half bad a tip. Kudos to secret agent "K", health freak extraordinare...

I have seen and heard of alot of diets. The way I see it thou are some work some don't. Most of them watn a lot of money and others just want you to read there book. I think it depends on the persons motabolism and their abilty to burn. I used to be able to burn it off but after three kids it is making it realy hard to keep it off. I might not be big to other people but to me i am. I feel I am gaining to much from what I used to be. I have started using the Metrim Free thru my business and I am waiting to see if it actually helps before I can say hey buy this it works. We see the commercials on T.V. all the time where it shows somebody that is suposedly overwieght and then the after picture where they have a six pack ab and buns of steel that I believe is a false statement. It is supposed to be showing there loosing weight not building there muscles that is a whole nother commercial like the BoFlex. Are we all in agreement here? I don't think it is what people eat it is how they burn the fat calories that are in the food. Most of it is watching your calories and how much you intake during the day. (My husband is overwieght and I have tried to put him on a calorie diet but he is a truck driver with all the temptations of the truck stops out there on the road. And his favorite meal is....Chicken Fried Steaks;2 Eggs Over Easy; Hashbrowns; Sausage Gravy; and then he smothers the whole thing in ketchup. That is one meal count the calories packing on and the cholestrol level. He is very hard for commitment when his whole life his best friend was food. I tell him all the time I am going to be a widow in five years from the facts he has high blood pressure and he is overweight. And I try to tell him that he needs to cut back for I don't want to loose him that soon when we just got married almost three years ago.) I do believe that it takes commitment and being true to yourself and constant discipline to make the right diet for anybody work.
